Visionary Enterprises, Inc. (now simply referred to as “VEI”) was incorporated in 1982 as a wholly-owned, for-profit subsidiary of Community Hospitals Foundation. Over the years, VEI expanded its scope and began providing health care-related management and consulting services to numerous providers throughout Indiana and surrounding states.
In 1987, VEI began providing physician practice management services with the establishment of Indianapolis Medical Management (IMM) as a division within VEI. Today, IMM focuses on specialty physicians and provides comprehensive management services for private-practice physicians as well as hospital-employed physician groups throughout Indiana.
VEI also directs retail pharmacy operations for the network; manages the surgical services department at three Community Health Network hospitals; and owns and manages more than 20 medical office buildings within central Indiana.
In 1992, VEI’s primary focus became outpatient surgical services through co-owned or managed ambulatory surgery centers. VEI was quickly recognized for creating highly-accredited and profitable joint ventures with physician investors, all while placing an unwavering focus on positive patient outcomes and safety.
VEI’s business model is also acknowledged in the industry for its strategic focus on creating mutually beneficial and successful outcomes for physician investors and VEI.
Today our ambulatory surgery centers are recognized by physicians, patients and even our competitors as industry leaders in delivering high-quality, customer-focused outpatient surgical services.
