How can I submit an application/resume within your organization?
First, you must apply online with us at VEIcorp.com/Careers. We use an online application system. During the online application process you will need to do a job search. Only positions that are actually available are listed in our postings.
You are offered the opportunity to create a profile and we encourage you to complete this process. Once your profile is completed, you will have the ability to copy your application and apply for various positions, track your application status and upload your resume. You may also sign up for our Career Mail service. Our Career Mail service will automatically send you an e-mail when positions are posted that match your interest. If you choose not to complete the profile information, you will have to apply individually for each position of interest by completing an online application for each specific position. Please note that we no longer accept paper resume copies.
How can I be sure that the position I applied for has not been filled?
The employment Web site only lists the currently active job postings. The Web site is updated on a regular basis. Positions that have been filled are removed immediately and will no longer appear.
How will I know that my application has been successfully submitted?
Once you submit your online application, a message will appear stating that your application was successfully submitted to the system. In addition, you will receive a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address that you provided in your online profile.
Can I submit my application for more than one job posting at a time?
Yes, you can submit your application for multiple job postings. You may have up to 20 new or active applications on file at any given time. However, you can only apply for up to 10 jobs in a 7-day timeframe. You cannot submit your application multiple times for the same job posting.
What happens if I did not get a chance to complete my application and my application is saved in “incomplete” status?
Your application will not be considered in an “incomplete” status. You may log back into your profile and pull up the application for the exact same position on the same computer to successfully submit your application prior to being considered for employment.
If I am an internal VEI employee, how do I apply for current job postings?
All internal employees will need to complete an online application through the employment Web site at VEIcorp.com/Careers to be considered for other positions throughout the network. There is a special section on the online application specifically designated for internal candidates. Please ensure that you fill this section out in its entirety to denote that you are an internal candidate.
What type of response will I receive after I submit my application to your organization?
Due to the high volume of applications received on a daily basis, we are unable to provide interim updates to each individual candidate. However, you can check the status of your application by logging back into your profile and viewing the status of each application.
If I do not see any current job postings that match my qualifications, can I still submit an online application?
If there are no job postings that match your qualifications at this time, you may still set up a profile and sign up for our Career Mail Service. Our Career Mail Service will automatically send you an e-mail when positions are posted that match your interest. We recommend that you continue to visit the employment Web site regularly to search for new job postings that might match your qualifications.
What criteria will you use to evaluate my application?
Your application will be evaluated and assessed based upon your experience, education, licensure and/or certification(s), and skill set required for the position.
If I was referred for a specific position and not hired for that opening, will you still consider me for other openings?
You will need to log back into your profile and submit your application for all positions of interest. Please continue to search our current job postings or you can sign up for our Career Mail service.
Do I have to set up a profile to search and submit my application for a job posting?
No. You do not need a profile to search for a job or to submit an online application on our employment Web site. If you choose not to complete the profile information, you will have to apply individually for each position of interest by completing an online application for each specific position and you will not have the ability to copy your application and apply for various positions, track your application status or upload your resume.
What if I forget my password?
Go to “Log in now” on the job search page of the employment Web site, and then click on “Forgot username or password.” You will have the option of having your password e-mailed to you or displayed on the screen.
How do I update my application and contact information? Also, what do I do if I discover that I made a mistake on my application?
You may log back in to update your profile information only on new applications. Applications previously submitted cannot be updated or corrected.
What are the computer requirements to browse and submit my application for a job posting through the employment Web site?
You can browse VEIcorp.com/Careers with both PC and Macintosh computers and a variety of Internet browsers. However, our Web site is Microsoft certified. To apply to a job posting, please be sure to use Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher and the pop-up blocker function on the computer must be disabled. It is also recommended that you have an electronic version of your resume available as you move through the application process.
How can I check on the status of my application?
You can check the status of your application by logging back into your profile and viewing the status of each application.
